Youtube has had many problems with people using licensed music in videos.  I am sure that you have seen a bunch of youtube videos that have been taken down for this very reason. It seems that this is one of the few places that the 30 second rule really does not apply when it comes to music.  However, you will see thousands of full songs playing in the background over lyrics, this is one youtube logic I for one, will never understand. They have tried to stop these ongoing problems by offering some free music tracks to allow users to add to their own videos.   This has not really helped much, as the track selection is very limited and there are really not very many good choices if you ask me.

You can download almost every song on this site in 2 very popular formats, both MP3 and M3U so even Apple fans can get the most out of this cool site.

Now that you have a never ending supply for great background tracks you have no excuse for getting your youtube videos yanked for copyright reasons.  Unless you are using a name that anybody has ever heard of, talking about popular books or well, you get the picture.  Youtube has pulled many videos for many ridiculous reasons, but don’t worry if you do something stupid enough in your video or show some skin, your video will be safe on youtube for eternity!
