I was in Memphis, Tennessee a couple of years ago and found myself at the Gibson Guitar Factory. I am not a professional musician but I do try to play a little guitar here and there. So, naturally I was interested in what it takes to make a $1,000-$10,000 guitar. I entered the factory knowing nothing about what goes into the production of a guitar and left believing that I could start my own factory if I just had the start-up capitol.

I don’t want to tell everything because you all need to go see it for yourself, but….

I can say that there is a good reason they cost as much as they do. All guitars are made in stages of hand carving, pressing, drying, and so forth.
The picture to the left you see the guitars drying after the layers of hardwood have been glued together and then bound with rope to keep them in place.

It takes months from beginning to end, and then the guitar is finally played and thoroughly tested before it is even though about being shipped to the customer. If you like music and more specifically guitars you must go to Memphis and heck while your there you might as well learn a little bit about the most classic of guitars the Les Paul!

These guitars really are works of art and they go through rigorous testing prior to shipping. If you do visit however do not forget to visit there blues museum, which they have recently moved across the street from the main factory.

Lean about the Zen Stone 2GB MP3 Player Here.

I bought the Zen Stone thinking that it was a cheap little mp3 player, and it is, cheap at least. This little thing packs a big punch when it comes to sound! The zen stone mp3 player has a very simple controller setup consisting of a small round button on front with volume: up, down and track: next, last options. In the middle of the button is your play and pause. There is no screen on the version I got but you can pay a little more to get a LCD display on it if you want.

At first I thought that the lack of digital display would be problematic, much to the contrary I found that if you put your music on the player in groups by artists names it is still very easy to find the song you are looking for.

The sound quality of this player is what really surprised me, with the ear buds that are included, to a 600 Watt Stereo, the sound quality that comes out of this little guy is superb. You can surely spend more and get better quality output from another device but I don’t think you can match the price/quality comparison to the Zen Stone.

Of course there are mp3 players out there with much more storage, up to 80GB on some, but this little 2Gb player hold enough music for hours of listening, even at the best audio quality. So for me I found this to be great player and the price is right.

For 30 bucks pretty much anywhere you can get your hands on this in a 2GB version, so if you are on the hunt for a cheap mp3 player, the zen stone may be for you.
